CMDA Phoenix has been ‘blessed to be a blessing,’ and to that end, Dr. Andrew Wong will be taking a small group of students and professionals down to serve at the Rocky Point Medical Clinic on October 25-27.

An overview:

• Schedule: leave Friday 10/25 at noon; Saturday clinic 9a-2p, followed by fellowship dinner and hangout time on the beach; return to Phoenix area by Sunday noon

• Clinic: we’ll be serving a patient population similar to that of the Neighborhood Christian Clinic; variety of primary care, small procedures and referral services; students to see patients with an interpreter and staff with attendings; ability to provide dental services if professionals from Phoenix can go

• Housing: students to stay in dormitory housing on campus (cost: $32 total); professionals may stay on campus or at the home of a physician in the area.

• Other: interpreters provided; passport needed. Suggested: register with the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program as this is an international trip.
