CMDA Worship Session
Join us for a time of worship at the Albert home (Scottsdale)! This will be an informal gathering where we come together to sing, play, and worship in a relaxed setting. No skill level is required—just a heart for worship.
There will also be time for breakout groups for prayer as we seek the Lord together.
We have guitars and keyboards available for anyone who wants to play. If you'd like to bring your own instrument, feel free to do so!
👉 Song Requests: If there’s a worship song you’d love to play or sing, let us know when you register! We’ll do our best to include it.
👉 Participation: Would you like to play an instrument or lead a song? Let us know when you register so we can accommodate you!
Coffee and bagels will be served!

CMDA Group Hike
Join others from CMDA Phoenix for our first social outing, an early-morning hike led by Drs. Ben & Ashley Albert!
Details: Saturday, May 18th at 7 AM. We’ll meet at the 40th Street trailhead (9200 N 40th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85028 in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve) and hike for about 1-1.5 hours.
The trail will be easy, perfect for all fitness levels.
Join us afterwards for an optional breakfast nearby.
Bring water, sunscreen and comfortable clothing.

CMDA BIOETHICS CONFERENCE
Today’s Christian healthcare students and professionals face an increasing number of bioethical challenges and dilemmas as they seek to follow Jesus in providing quality, compassionate care in his name.
While the answers aren’t always easy, CMDA Phoenix wants to come alongside our Christian healthcare community in this important arena with our first Bioethics Conference.
Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children!
Join CMDA for an evening of volunteering at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a local Christian non-profit dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. They work with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development.
Parents are welcome - and encouraged - to bring their children (age 5 and up) along so they can serve, too!
Helping Patients Deal With Sorrow, Loss & Grief

Volunteer Dinner at Project C.U.R.E.
Healthcare students and professionals, join CMDA Phoenix for an evening of dinner, fellowship and volunteering at Project C.U.R.E. in Tempe. Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment and services to doctors and nurses serving the underserved in more than 135 countries. Drawing upon our healthcare background, we will help Project C.U.R.E. assure these supplies will be useful on the field, and get them ready for shipping where they are needed most. We only have 25 spaces available: first-come, first-served. 😊 We will create a registration link in the near future; stay tuned!
Welcome Gathering
Join CMDA Phoenix for a time of fellowship and food as we begin another academic year! We will also have a conversation with our panelists around pursuing balance and avoiding burnout, followed by small group discussion to help us begin finding more balance in our own lives.
Open to all local healthcare students, residents, fellows, professionals and their spouses, significant others, families and friends.
